Loreto. The Technical Team of the Center for the Development of the Amazonian Indigenous - CEDIA, carried out the validation of the Life Plans of 12 native communities located in the Napo and Santa María river basins, Loreto region. The validation was carried out through workshops that took place from November 16 to December 2, 2018.
The objective was to socialize the final document so that they are approved in the corresponding communal assemblies. The Life Plan (PdV) is a communal management instrument that has been developed together with the native communities since 2017, within the framework of the project “Expansion of the Airo Pai Communal Reserve for the protection and sustainable conservation of the ANPs Complex del Güeppí - Peru ”.
Tempest Native Community
The Dos Fronteras Native Community, San Juan de Miraflores Native Community, Torres Causano Native Community, Vencedores Native Community, Urpi Isla Native Community, Tempestad Native Community, Yarina Lllacta Native Community, Túpac Amaru Native Community, Chingana Native Community participated in this validation process. , Santa María Native Community, Estirón de Santa Maria Native Community and Vencedor Native Community.
These communities now have documents that will allow them to work on their communal planning. Mainly because they are made with and for the community, since, through the participatory component, they express their ideas and actions in the future, in the short, medium and long term.
Estirón de Santa Maria Native Community
The Life Plan contains a diagnosis that describes all the community characteristics related to social, political, financial, cultural aspects, among others; also its communal vision; actions for change; analysis of institutions; an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and a POS monitoring system.
