Iquitos. Officials and workers of the Regional Management of Indigenous Affairs (GRAI) of the Regional Government of Loreto (GOREL) strengthened their knowledge about the management of GPS and cartography, in order to improve their capacities for field activities carried out in the communities visiting natives.
The training was developed through a workshop on Saturday, February 8, 2020 that was carried out by the Center for the Development of the Amazonian Indigenous (CEDIA), within the framework of the joint and complementary work plan that these institutions have.
It should be noted that this activity is carried out within the framework of the project "Building Durable Conservation Areas and Strengthening the Governance of the Yavari Samiria Mosaic" funded by the Moore Foundation.
