Loreto. As part of the community strengthening that is being developed within the framework of the management of the Airo Pai Communal Reserve, this November 25 and 26 a training was held on investment projects in the San Martín de Porres Native Community. This aimed to provide guidelines and knowledge for the development and identification of projects. Likewise, a workshop was held on the use and management of GPS for the identification of boundaries and limits.
Representatives of native communities of the Secoya ethnic group and the Organization of Artisanal Fishermen "Los Pioneros de Aguarico" of the Napo River participated in the training. Rony Villanueva, a specialist from the Center for the Development of the Amazonian Indigenous - CEDIA, was in charge of the courses. All these activities are aimed at providing tools to strengthen and improve the management of the Airo Pai Communal Reserve.
