Cusco. In order to attend to the legal physical sanitation of the native communities located in the Apurímac river valley, the Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Irrigation (DIRAGRI) and the Directorate of Infrastructure and Sanitation of Agrarian Property (DISPA) of the Regional Government met of Cusco together with the Center for the Development of the Amazonian Indigenous (CEDIA), in order to establish agreements for joint work.
Two communities that will benefit were identified: Kaviniri located in the Pichari district and Alto Paquishiari, in the Echarati district; both located in the province of La Convencion, Cusco. CEDIA undertook to propose a draft of the terms of the inter-institutional agreement that both parties would establish and that will allow the signing of a new agreement.
The meeting was held in the city of Cusco, on November 20, and was attended by Eng. Víctor López Durand, DIRAGRI regional director, Eng. Zenón Gomes, DISPA regional director, Lelis Rivera Chávez, executive director of CEDIA and the southern regional director of CEDIA, Ricardo Risco.
