Maynas. Actions for the Amazon continue. The Torres Causana District Municipality and the Center for the Development of the Amazonian Indigenous (CEDIA), celebrated the signing of the inter-institutional agreement that seeks, mainly, to support the physical and legal sanitation of the native communities of the district; located in the province of Maynas, Loreto region.
The joint work includes support for the organizational strengthening of the native communities of the area; as well as the formulation and monitoring of community management instruments such as life plans. For this, it has also been considered to strengthen the capacities of public officials on the methodology of these plans.
The agreement was signed on Thursday, August 13, at the Torres Causana municipality office. Present were Enrique Coquinche Coquinche, district mayor; Luis Trevejo, CEDIA North Regional Director and Rony Villanueva, CEDIA Social Specialist.
