On August 4 and 5 of this year, the last Workshop of the Update Process of the Master Plan (PM) of the Matsés National Reserve was held in the town of Colonia Angamos, in the department of Loreto. It had the participation of more than one hundred representatives of the Matsés Native Community, who helped with the translation into Matses of the vision and strategic objectives of the PM so that the document is also produced in their own language. Local and regional authorities also participated.
The Center for the Development of the Amazonian Indigenous - CEDIA provides technical and financial advice to the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State (SERNANP) throughout this process in order to promote better management that includes the participation of Native Communities .
